# XP

> Buzzr's experience point system — level up by engaging with the community

XP (Experience Points) is Buzzr's progression system. Earn XP through everyday activity to level up your profile and unlock standing in the community.

## How to Earn XP

| Activity                                  | XP Earned     |
| ----------------------------------------- | ------------- |
| Rate a game                               | 15 XP         |
| Submit a prediction (confirmed post-game) | 15 XP         |
| React to a game                           | 3 XP          |
| Daily check-in                            | 20 XP         |
| Submit a bracket                          | 40 XP         |
| Share a bracket                           | 15 XP         |
| Confidence or Survivor pick               | 8 XP per pick |
| Send a group-chat message                 | 2 XP          |
| Refer a friend (universal-link claim)     | 100 XP        |

## Leveling Up

Buzzr uses a logarithmic leveling system — early levels come quickly, but higher levels require more XP. The maximum level is **100**. Your level shows on your profile and in the leaderboards.

## Streaks

Stay active daily to build streaks and earn bonus XP:

| Streak  | Bonus  | Label              |

| 3 days  | 50 XP  | On Fire 🔥         |
| 7 days  | 150 XP | Week Warrior ⚔️    |
| 14 days | 300 XP | Two-Week Terror 💪 |
| 30 days | 500 XP | Monthly Monster 👑 |

## Tournament boosts

During major tournaments (March Madness, NBA Playoffs, FIFA World Cup), bracket and picks-related actions earn boosted XP for the duration of the event:

* **2× multiplier** on bracket actions (bracket submit, confidence / survivor pick, share bracket, host group)
* **1.5× multiplier** on all other activities

The exact dates are surfaced in-app on the Events tab when each tournament window opens.
