# Survivor

> Single-elimination bracket picks — one wrong pick and you're out

Survivor is Buzzr's high-stakes single-elimination prediction mode during major tournaments.

<Note>
  Survivor pools are available during select tournament windows. Availability varies by event — check the **Events** tab in-app during tournament season.
</Note>

## How Survivor Works

1. **Pick one winner** each round of the tournament
2. **Get it right** — you advance to the next round
3. **Get it wrong** — you're eliminated

It's simple, intense, and one of the most demanding ways to follow tournament action.

## Rules

* You make **one pick per round** — choose wisely
* Picks **lock at tipoff** for each game
* Once eliminated, you're out for the tournament
* Each correct pick earns you **8 XP** and **8 Pollen**

## Strategy Tips

* **Don't overthink early rounds** — Pick safe winners in the Round of 64
* **Save your bold picks** for later rounds where the field narrows
* **Watch the matchups** — Use Buzzr's community consensus and prediction data to inform your picks
* **Follow the momentum** — Teams on hot streaks tend to carry that energy forward

## Second Chance

A Second Chance bracket is offered when an event window enables it, giving fans knocked out in the early rounds another shot at redemption. Watch the Events tab for the second-chance window during each tournament.

## Leaderboards

Survivor pools have their own leaderboard showing who's still alive and who's been eliminated. The last fan standing earns bragging rights across the community.
