Survivor is Buzzr’s high-stakes single-elimination prediction mode during major tournaments.
Survivor pools are available during select tournament windows. Availability varies by event — check the Events tab in-app during tournament season.

How Survivor Works

  1. Pick one winner each round of the tournament
  2. Get it right — you advance to the next round
  3. Get it wrong — you’re eliminated
It’s simple, intense, and one of the most demanding ways to follow tournament action.

Rules

  • You make one pick per round — choose wisely
  • Picks lock at tipoff for each game
  • Once eliminated, you’re out for the tournament
  • Each correct pick earns you 8 XP and 8 Pollen

Strategy Tips

  • Don’t overthink early rounds — Pick safe winners in the Round of 64
  • Save your bold picks for later rounds where the field narrows
  • Watch the matchups — Use Buzzr’s community consensus and prediction data to inform your picks
  • Follow the momentum — Teams on hot streaks tend to carry that energy forward

Second Chance

A Second Chance bracket is offered when an event window enables it, giving fans knocked out in the early rounds another shot at redemption. Watch the Events tab for the second-chance window during each tournament.

Leaderboards

Survivor pools have their own leaderboard showing who’s still alive and who’s been eliminated. The last fan standing earns bragging rights across the community.
