Leaderboards are where Buzzr’s most active and accurate fans rise to the top.

How Leaderboards Work

Your leaderboard ranking is determined by your activity and accuracy across the platform — XP earned, prediction accuracy, bracket performance, and community engagement all factor in.

Leaderboard Types

XP / Pollen

Ranked by lifetime XP and Pollen earned. Rate games, submit predictions, join groups, and stay active to climb.

Bracket Leaderboards

During tournaments like March Madness and the NBA Playoffs, bracket leaderboards track who has the best picks. Rankings update in real-time as games finish — with separate views for public groups and private friend circles.

Playoff Leaderboards

During the NBA Playoffs window, separate leaderboards track:
  • Series Script Accuracy — How close your series-script predictions came
  • MVP Oracle — Players who most accurately picked round MVPs
  • Daily Quest — Total quests completed in the window
  • Power Ranking Streaks — Consecutive correct power-ranking calls

Squad Leaderboards

Compete within your squad or friend circle. Create private squads and see who really knows their stuff.

Prediction Accuracy

Pre-game predictions that get confirmed into ratings are scored against the eventual community Buzz Score. The most accurate predictors climb a dedicated prediction leaderboard.

Climbing the Ranks

The best way to climb leaderboards:
  1. Rate every game you watch (15 XP each, 5/day cap on Pollen)
  2. Submit pre-game predictions and confirm them after the final buzzer
  3. Build streaks for bonus multipliers
  4. Submit brackets during tournament season (40 XP each)
  5. Check in daily for the 100 Pollen claim
